  DT is having a speech tomorrow. Probably a stance on further restrictions. That said, the country will not address any if the issues; health, immigration, wages, ( jobs that are not burger flippers) ,crime, drugs, violence

  Trump handed the immigrant ball to Congress where it belonged all the time. They dropped it. As for the previous president he is more correctly Arab/American and he stirred lots up

  You can blame some if this on the PC business where no one can say unapproved things

  I just came back from Walmart and the store was full of Spanish speakers buying school stuff. The kids do not speak English either. There are families with kids 4, 3, 2 ,1 plus the school ages. Who can afford this on "jobs Americans won't do"?

  Before you all call racist be aware my best neighbor is a mexico mexican, his kids speak better English than a lot of rednecks, he keeps his home up.   Why doesn’t the Governing Body hold debates to asses the qualifications of a new GB member?

  members know absolutely nothing about new members of the governing body who are appointed.

  kenneth cook was the last appointed governing body member in 2018..

  it seems every congregation has a couple of weirdo elders, pioneers and ministerial servants.

  and then you see those witnesses who attend meetings but most people seldom associate with them because... they are eccentric..

  where the dictionary says society, read "the society"........... is there a malaise in the jw world?

  That twice monthly talk part is still for up and coming brothers. There is little leeway for thinking. I used to like doing the talks you really had to think about, note used to.   if you criticize a female, you are obviously sexist.

  How about sending people who will not assimilate to the common culture, learn the language back?

  Too many immigrants are making ghettos and trying to pull the country to their level. They will not recognize flaws of where they came from; and they would not have emigrated without the flaws pushing them

  5 meetings on 3 days. They differentiated the talk and study, and t the ministry school and service meeting
